Tony Tinirau was born on 21 September 1966 in French Polynesia. He moved to the Cook Islands with his family in 1967, where he has lived for most of his life. A dedicated and hardworking individual, Tony received his early education at Nikao School and later attended Tereora College.

In September 2000, Tony joined Origin Energy, where he built a long and respected career in the energy sector. Over the years, he served in several key roles, including Terminal Manager for Geo Gas, Ship Discharge Load Master, and Road Tanker Driver. His experience and commitment made him a valued member of the team and a trusted professional in the field.

Tony is currently a New Zealand citizen and continues to contribute his knowledge and expertise to the industry.
